..Respondents Prayer:- This Writ Petition is filed, under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents to keep restrained from removing the statue of Bharatha Rathna Dr.MGR, which was installed and unveiled in an extent of 180 sq.ft. of patta land in the premises bearing Door No.9B, Sara Nagar Main Road, Ward No.XIII, Old Pallavaram, Chennai-117.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner has submitted that this Writ Petition may be dismissed, as infructuous and also made an endorsement to that effect.
