ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 25.04.2016 addressed to the first respondent and to file a final report within a stipulated period.

It is the case of the petitioner that his elder brother Vinod Kumar is in Iraq and he had sent a sum of Rs.5 lakhs to Alexander for the medical expenses of their mother, which, Alexander had misappropriated to himself. When the petitioner demanded payment, the said Alexander appears to have given a cheque for Rs.4,60,000/- which is also dishonoured.

Earlier, the petitioner lodged a complaint based on which petition enquiry was conducted and closed on 09.09.2015. Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the complaint dated 25.04.2016, this Court directs the petitioner to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint before the Inspector of Police, Ranipet Police Station. On receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action be taken thereon in accordance with law, if it discloses commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
