The petitioner has sought a mandamus directing the sole respondent / Registrar of Trade Marks to process the TMC-CC application bearing No.106045 filed on 11.01.2021 and issue a search certificate expeditiously. 2.Mr.C.Samivel, learned Central Government Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondent and states that the written submissions of the parties have been received and that orders will be passed within a short time. 3.At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that personal hearing had taken place a while ago. Since the matter has been hanging fire for several months, he would like to be heard again. 4.Hence, let the respondent hear the petitioner as well as any other necessary parties and pass orders on the application dated 11.01.2021 within a period of six (6) weeks from today.

5.This writ petition is disposed. No costs.
