ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 328 of IPC and Sections 7 and 20(1) of Cigarette and other Tobacco Products Act, 2003 in Crime No.76 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner herein apprehending arrest a case connected with illicit transportation of tobacco products worth about Rs.42,000/- in a Maruthi Bolero Car. Investigation and confession Statement of one Pradeep who accompanied with contraband indicates that the Maruthi Bolero Car in which the contraband was transported belongs to the petitioner herein and he has given it to his brother Pradeep knowingly to be used for illicit transport of tobacco from Bangalore to Dharmapuri.

3. Considering the candid abetment to the crime by the petitioner herein by providing vehicle, this court is of the view that anticipatory bail cannot be granted for the grave offence.
