The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to quash the order dated 15.02.2016, cancelling the license granted in favour of the petitioner for running Arasu Cable T.V.

2. Six years lapsed. Pursuant to the impugned order, the license granted to run Arasu Cable was cancelled and under these circumstances, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh application, if he is interested in continuing the business. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

However, the relief sought for cannot be considered on account of efflux of time and further, it is not made clear that whether the petitioner is in the business of Cable T.V. Operations.

3. This being the factum, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent authority, if any grievance exists as of now and for the redressal.

4. With this liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
