This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to register a case based on the petitioner's complaints dated 13.12.2020 and 18.12.2020, pending on the file of the respondent Police.
2. The main grievance expressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has followed the entire procedure contemplated under Section 154 of Cr.P.C. and a petition has also been filed before the learned Magistrate under Section 156 (3) of Cr.P.C. Thereafter, the petition has repeatedly adjourned and after sometime, it was numbered as CMP.No.522 of 2021. Even thereafter, the matter is being adjourned time and again and now the application is posted on 19.03.2021.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is an urgency in this case and the Court below is adjourning the case in a routine fashion without passing any orders and left with no other option, the present petition has been filed before this Court.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sathyamangalam to pass orders in CMP.No.522 of 2021 within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
