Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of her property at R.S.No.170/6A, Patta No.830, Kalapet Revenue Village, Oulgaret Municipality, Puducherry on the basis of the application dated 21.06.2024.

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner by considering the application submitted by the petitioner on 21.06.2024 with respect to the subject property.

2. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property under a registered sale deed dated 28.11.2018. The petitioner has submitted an application seeking for patta on 03.11.2023. Even subsequent to the same, representations were made. Since there was no response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 2/4

3. Heard Ms.Gopika Nambiar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Tamilvanan, learned Additional Government Pleader (P) appearing for respondents.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 21.06.2024 and pass necessary orders issuing patta in the name of the petitioner within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
