ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to dispose of C.M.A. No.22 of 2018 before the learned Principal District Judge, Chennai against the

order passed in eviction petition dated 10.01.2018 passed by the Estate officer in petition No.10 of 2006. During the pendency of C.M.A before the City Civil Court, Chennai, the petitioner/respondent filed this revision petition before this Court with a prayer to direct the learned Principal Judge, Chennai to dispose the C.M.A., within stipulated period. Hence, this Court has granted interim stay. At the same time, the learned Principal Judge adjourned the matter on 05.06.2000 for orders.

During pendency of the petition, the Tahsildar issued a notice to the revision petitioner for recovery of revenue. This Court had passed an interim order on 10.05.2018. Therefore, the records state that on 05.06.2000, the learned Principal Judge has not passed any order. This Civil Revision Petition itself is for a direction of early disposal of C.M.A. Perused the records. Since, there is no serious objection with regard to issuing of a direction for early disposal of C.M.A.No.22 of 2018 , the learned Principal Judge, Chennai, is directed to dispose of C.M.A.No.22 of 2018 on or before 25.06.2018 in accordance with law, the earlier order passed by this Court is made absolute till then. The first respondent has given an undertaking that till the disposal of C.M.A. By 25.06.2018 and they will not

take any further action in this regard against the petitioner. Accordingly, the civil revision petition is disposed of. No costs.
