ORDER

This petition is to quash the criminal proceedings in C.C.No.438 of 2015 which has been taken cognizance by the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-VI, Coimbatore, for the offences punishable u/s 147 and 323 of IPC.

2. It is reported by the learned counsel for the petitioner/A1 and the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent/de facto complainant that the parties have arrived at a compromise and reduced the same into writing. They have filed the joint memo of compromise entered into between the petitioner and the de facto complainant in writing, wherein, in para 3, it is stated as follows:- "3.It is submitted that, in view of the above compromise, the 2nd respondent and the petitioner herein have settled the entire dispute regarding the above said issues and they request this Hon'ble Court to quash the C.C.No.438 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.VI and to quash the same."

3. The de facto complainant and the petitioner have appeared in person and confirmed the compromise.

In view of the above, this original petition is allowed and the

impugned criminal proceedings in C.C.No.438 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-VI, Coimbatore, is quashed Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 27..03..2023 Index : yes / no : yes / no kmk To 1.The Judicial Magistrate-VI, Coimbatore.
