The petitioner seeks to amend the prayer in the original writ petition by extending the same to cover the proceedings of the 5th respondent, newly impleaded under M.P.No.4596 of 2019 dated 31.12.2018.

2.This application is opposed on the ground that the order of assessment constitutes a separate cause of action. However as indicated by me in M.P.No.4596 of 2019 the order of assessment deals with the assessment of the gold seized at the Airport, which seizure is under question in the main writ petition. Both the causes of action are thus interlinked and this amendment application is thus ordered.

3.Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment and list on 25.10.2019.
