This petition has been filed to clarify the order dated 22.10.2019 made in W.P.No.32054 of 2013 relating to the portion of the order directing to consider the petitioner's request for promotion, subject to the eligibility.

2. Heard the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that the respondent herein has also filed contempt petition against the order passed in the above writ petition. Now, this petition has been filed by the petitioners to clarify the order dated 22.10.2019 relating to the portion of the order directing to consider the petitioner's (respondent herein) request for promotion, subject to the eligibility. It is seen from the records that based on the order passed by this Court dated 22.10.2019, the petitioners had replied by way of https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

proceedings stating that they could not consider the request of the J. NISHA BANU, J.

vsi respondent. If at all the respondent herein is aggrieved by the same, he is entitled to challenge the same in the manner known to law. Therefore, this Court is of the view that no clarification is required in the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.32054 of 2013. Hence, this petition is closed.
