O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.VENUGOPAL, J.] Mr.R.Arunmozhi, Learned Standing Counsel for the Respondent/Corporation informs this Court that the order passed by this Court dated 01.04.2015 in W.P.No.9496 of 2015 has been complied with and that the representation of the Petitioner dated 17.09.2014 was considered and disposed of.

2.In this connection, this Court has perused the Letter of the Zonal Officer, Zonal Office IV, Greater Chennai Corporation, Chennai - 600 021 addressed to the Petitioner dated 25.04.2016 in Z.O.IV.C.No.B1/3344/2016, whereby and whereunder, it is, inter alia, stated that '... At present there is no road as on site on western side of the Plot No.55, Kaviarasu Kannadasan Nagar, Kodungaiyur, Chennai - 600 118. Accordingly your representation is considered and disposed of.'

3.In view of the above, this Court holds that nothing survives for adjudication in this Contempt Petition and accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed. It is abundantly made clear that the

closure of the present Contempt Petition will not preclude the Petitioner to seek appropriate remedy before the appropriate forum against the concerned, of course, in the manner known to Law and in accordance with law, if he so desires/advised, on the basis of the Communication of the Zonal Officer - IV, Greater Chennai Corporation, Chennai dated 25.04.2016.
