This application is filed to extend the time for passing an award in pursuance of the order dated 09.11.2017 passed in O.P.No.271 of 2017 for a further period of six months, from the date of order in the present application.

2. I heard the learned counsel for the applicant/respondent. Despite service of notice, none appeared on behalf of the respondent.

3. The relief sought for in the application is only seeking an extension of time. Having regard to the nature of the application, time for passing an award in pursuance of the order dated 09.112017 passed in O.P.No.271 of 2017 is extended by a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and this application is ordered accordingly.
