ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.38866 of 2016, by order dated 14.11.2016, has directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's explanation to the show cause notice and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks.

2.Alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 15.11.2016, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, there is no representation for the petitioner. However, the learned Additional Advocate General, assisted by the Government Advocate, by producing a copy of the proceedings dated 26.03.2018 issued by the respondent, submitted that on the explanation submitted by the petitioner, the respondent has passed an order and as such, the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed.
