Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Second Respondent to publish the list of selected candidates for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade-II notified under Notification No. 03/2018 dated 14.02.2018 in its website within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Heard Ms. C.Uma, Learned Counsel for the Petitioners, Mr. S.Silambannan assisted by Mr. L.S.M.Hassam Fizal, Learned Additional Government Pleader and Mr. G.Ameedias, Learned Government Advocate appearing for First and Third Respondents and Mr. Karthick Rajan, Learned Counsel for the Second Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.
2. The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Second Respondent to publish the list of selected candidates for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade-II notified under Notification No. 03/2018 dated 14.02.2018 in its website within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
3. It is brought to notice that the list of selected candidates as sought by the Petitioners has been published on 28.04.2021 after the filing of the Writ Petition and they have thereafter filed another Writ Petition in W.P. No. 12041 of 2021 seeking certain other reliefs. Since the relief sought in this Writ Petition has ceased to exist, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw this Writ Petition reserving the right of the Petitioners to raise their contentions in the subsequent Writ Petition in W.P. No. 12041 of 2021 filed by them. She has also made an endorsement to that effect in the court record.
