Common Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to recruit the petitioners for the post of Assistant Professor for Government Arts and Science Colleges 2012 without insisting for production of certificate of SET if the petitioner is otherwise qualified for such recruitment.

COMMON ORDER When these writ petitions were taken up for hearing today, learned counsel for the Petitioners submitted that, though, the Writ Petitions are filed seeking a direction to the first Respondent herein to recruit the Petitioners to the post of Assistant Professor without insisting upon State Eligibility Test Certificate, during the pendency of the Writ Petitions, the recruitment process was completely changed. Hence, according to the learned counsel for the Petitioners, nothing further survives for consideration in these Writ Petitions.

Recording the submissions of the learned counsel for the Petitioners, as nothing further survives for consideration at this distant point of time, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
