..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ Mandamus, directing 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation with regard to revise the pension by taking into account the past service rendered by the petitioner during the period from 01.01.1991 to 11.06.2000 in Rural Development Department as qualifying service in the light of Rule 23(1) of Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978 and to send revised pension proposal to the 4th respondent to authorize the same with all consequential benefits.

O R D E R

The grievances of the writ petitioner is that the service rendered by the writ petitioner during the period from 01.01.1991 to 11.06.2000 has not reckoned for the purpose of grant of pensionery benefits. In this regard, the writ petitioner submitted a representation to the third respondent on 07.03.2017, however, the said representation is yet to be considered.

2. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 07.03.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copies of all the relevant documents, if any, along with the order passed in the present writ petition.
