This Criminal Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 11.05.2015 and to investigate the matter.

2. Heard Mr.S.Joel,learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias,learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint, the matter essentially relates to a civil dispute in as much as the issuance of some cheques to the petitioner. Hence, no positive direction can be given to the petitioner and therefore, this petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy, in the manner known to law.
