..Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to tender cum auction notification bearing Tender No.TACTV/Local Channels/1/2013 dated 16.08.2013 issued by the first respondent and quash the same in so far as it relates to the petitioner's channel placement for Coimbatore City and consequently, direct the first respondent to reactivate the petitioner's channel namely Abinaya TV for a further period of one year on payment of the carriage fee of Rs.7,10,000/- per month plus tax. The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to quash the tender cum auction notification issued by the first respondent on 16.08.2013.

2. The short tender cum action notice was issued for allotment of private local channels in the Districts of Coimbatore, Salem, Tiruppur, Cuddalore, Karur and Thanjavur.

3. On account of efflux of time, the cause raised lost its relevance. In view of the fact that the tender process had already been completed and also the fact that 7-1/2 years have lapsed. Thus, no further relief needs to be granted.
