ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the revision petition bearing Na.Ka.No.2112/2018/A1 dated 08.10.2018, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court .

2. When the matter came up before this Court on 04.03.2023, this Court had directed the official respondents to file status report with regard to the subject matter revision petition dated 08.10.2018 filed by the petitioner, on or before 07.03.2024 and the matter was ordered to be listed on 08.03.2024.

3. Today (08.03.2024), when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents 2/5

submitted that order has been passed on the revision petition filed by the petitioner, on 07.03.2024 itself and he also produced the copy of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.22183/2018/M4 dated 07.03.2024 which shows that pending this Writ Petition and after the direction of this Court dated 04.03.2024, the 1st respondent has passed the order in the revision petition dated 08.10.2018, filed by the petitioner. Hence, the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said order dated 07.03.2024, passed by the 1st respondent/DRO, if he is so aggrieved. 08.03.2024 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No Ksa-2 3/5
