ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M. SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The relief sought for in this Habeas Corpus Petition is for a direction to direct respondents 1 to 4 to produce the body of the petitioner's husband Murugesan, male, aged about 50 years, S/o.Picha Muthu and set him at liberty.

2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner made a submission that the detenu has already been set at liberty. Confirming the said statement, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2 submitted that a statement given by the detenu on 08.03.2018. The detenu had submitted before the Inspector of Police, M-2, Madhavaram Milk Colony Police Station that he was not illegally detained. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.In view of the statement given by the detenu, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in this Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, this petition stands closed.
