Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2017 and pass final orders within a reasonable time frame as fixed by this Court.

Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to consider his representation dated 13.10.2017 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pass final order, wherein and whereby, the petitioner sought for conducting an enquiry with regard to the demolition of certain old temples under the guise of putting up new construction at Namakkal district.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said request has not been considered by the HR & CE Department so far.

4. Mr.M.Maharaja who takes notice for the respondents, based on the instruction submitted that the representation of the petitioner was already received and the same is under consideration by conducting an enquiry. He further submitted that the enquiry is going on.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Special government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to complete the enquiry and pass final orders on the petitioner's representation within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
