Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to fully exhaust the panel as on 01.01.2019 comprising of BT Assistants/PG Assistants for promotion to the post of High School Headmasters prepared by the 3rd respondent by calling the petitioners who are in Serial Nos.102, 604, 643, 653, 727, 762 and 792 in the said panel for counselling and issue appointment orders to the petitioners as High School Headmasters.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to fully exhaust the panel as on 01.01.2019 comprising of BT Assistants/PG Assistants for promotion to the post of High School Headmasters prepared by the 3rd respondent by calling the petitioners who are in Serial Nos.102, 604, 643, 653, 727, 762 and 792 in the said panel for counselling and issue appointment orders to the petitioners as High School Headmasters.

2.The petitioners made a representation dated 25.02.2022 to the 4th respondent for promotion to the post of High School Headmasters. The said representation is still pending, no order has been passed by the 4th respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no serious objections for considering the petitioners' representation.

4.Taking into the aforesaid submissions made by the parties and considering the limited scope of the prayer, this Court is inclined to direct the 3rd and 4th respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 25.02.2022 and pass orders in accordance with law, if otherwise eligible, as early as possible, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
