ORDER

This petition has been filed to grant permission to direct the respondent to give police protection and permission to conduct temple festival with cultural programs at Arulmigu Sri Mariamman Sri Madurai Veeran Sri Ongaliamman Tiru Koil at Reddypalayam, Vellitiruppur, Andiyur Taluk, Erode District scheduled to be held on 07.04.2018.

The petitioner had given a representation dated 26.03.2018 to the respondent police for conducting cultural activities in the local temple. It is for the Police to take a decision depending upon the law and order situation and this Court cannot give a direction to the police as prayed for by the petitioner. Hence, this petition is closed.
