O R D E R

When the contempt petition is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent produced a cheque bearing No.510571 dated 07.03.2016 for a sum of Rs.2,00,304/- towards final https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ settlement. According to the learned counsel, the

petitioner appeared before the Commissioner and submitted that he has not received the two cheques issued by the Corporation earlier. The learned counsel, therefore, wanted the cheque to be handed over to the petitioner.

2. The respondent is permitted to send the cheque by registered post to the petitioner directly.

In view of the payment made by the respondent, this Contempt Petition is closed.
