Prayer: Criminal Original petition file under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code seeking to direct the 2nd respondent police to give police protection for measurement of the petitioner's property is situated at Dindal (vill), Kariamangalam, Dharmapuri District in 442 B/2B an extent of 01.13 1⁄2 acres in patta 432 based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 08.02.2024 on the file of respondent police.

O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner to measure the petitioner's property situated at Dindal (vill), Kariamangalam, Dharmapuri Districtin 442 B/2B an extent of 01.13 1⁄2 acres in patta 432 based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 08.02.2024 on the file of respondent police.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that, based on the complaint dated 08.02.2024 given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending on the file of the 1st respondent Police. 3.

The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry and the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action. This process 2/4

shall be completed by the respondent Police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
