The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the measurement of petitioners property comprised in old survey No. 73pt and 72/2 village GiramaNattham Survey No.38at measuring to an extent of 5175 sq.ft. situated at Old Door No.9 New Door No. 22/5 Ward-B Block Perumal Kovil Street Ernavur Village Tiruvotriyur Taluk Chennai District vide Document No. 7021 of 2008 on the file of SRO Tiruvotriyur chennai District pursuant to the petitioner representation dated 09.01.2023.

In respect of the property situated at old survey No. 73pt and 72/2 village GiramaNattham Survey No.38at measuring to an extent of 5175 sq.ft. situated at Old Door No.9 New Door No. 22/5 Ward-B Block Perumal Kovil Street Ernavur Village Tiruvotriyur Taluk Chennai District, the petitioner had given an application on 09.01.2023 to survey the land and identify the four boundaries. In order to consider the same the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

4. Learned Government Advocate for the respondents would submit that the said application would be considered and the needful would be undertaken by completing the survey and fixing the four boundaries within a time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein and having regard to the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 09.01.2023 and do the needful to survey the land and identify the four boundaries within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
