ORDER

Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who produced the letter of the District Collector, Coimbatore, dated 2.7.2015, wherein, it is stated among other things, that the brother of the local body Vice President is a registered contractor and only in the event of the Member of the local body or the Vice President of the local body carrying on their avocation as contractors, appropriate action under the Tamil Nadu Municipalities Act, 1920, will be taken.

2.In the light of the said notification, the contempt petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the letter dated 2.7.2015, of the District Collector, Coimbatore District.
