The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to restore the petitioner name in the official website of the Revenue Department in respect of the property measuring 785 sq .metres (21 cents) instead of 36 sq. meters in TS No. 9/1 Old SNo. 99/6 (Pt) Block No. 12 Door No.1-A Balavinayagar Street Arumbakkam Chennai district in line with the proceedings in Na.Ka.No. A2/ 1225/ 2022 dated 29.12.2022 issued by the 4th respondent by considering the petitioners representation dated 13.06.2022.

The petitioner is claimed to have purchased the property measuring 785 sq .metres (21 cents) instead of 36 sq. meters in TS No. 9/1 Old SNo. 99/6 (Pt) Block No. 12, Door No.1-A Balavinayagar Street, Arumbakkam, Chennai District by a registered deed dated 25.10.2000. Thereafter, in 2001 he had applied and received patta.
3. When that being so, recently when the petitioner verified the computer patta, he found that wrong descriptions have been given and the patta stood in the name of one Mani Mudaliar S/o Murugesa Mudaliar in the TSLR and the 2 / 4
extent also has been wrongly mentioned. Therefore, in order to rectify the same and to issue computer patta the petitioner has given a representation on 13.06.2022. In order to consider the said representation and to pass necessary orders, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
5. Learned Government Advocate submits that, the said representation would be taken up and decided on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
6. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Pleader, this Court directs the 4th respondent Tahsildar to take up the representation dated 13.06.2022 submitted by the petitioner and do the needful by making corrections in the computer patta after verifying the document of the petitioner and the same shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
