O R D E R

This petition is for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to issue legal heir certificate of petitioner's mother Mrs.Marry Chellathai, who died on 25.5.2017.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the on line application made by the petitioner seems to have been rejected on the ground that the petitioner was not residing in the said address. Hence it is only a cryptic order without any reasons.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the petitioner to furnish all those documents, including the death certificate and address proof etc and any other documents that may be required by the authorities, which are relevant for the purpose of issuing a Legal Heir certificate. The second respondent, is thereafter, directed to conduct an enquiry, verify the relevant particulars and pass appropriate orders issuing a Legal Heir certificate, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

5. Post the matter on 05.07.2021, for reporting compliance.
