ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to measure the petitioner's property comprised in Old S.No.279, New S.No.357/4 situated at Pethathampatti, Pappireddypattti Taluk, Dharmapuri District by metes and bounds on the basis of the application dated 06.12.2022.

2. The petitioner in order to survey the land at Old S.No.279, New S.No.357/4 situated at Pethathampatti, Pappireddypattti Taluk, Dharmapuri District, has given an application and paid the necessary fee on 06.12.2022 to the third respondent Tahsildar. Therefore, in order to consider the said application and to do the needful, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. Heard Mr.S.Sasikumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered by the third respondent and the needful would be undertaken by completing the survey within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 06.12.2022 and do the needful by completing the survey within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
