This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to re-fix the seniority in the post of B.T.Assistant ( based on the initial date of appointment 08.07.2004 ) and there by grant the petitioner with promotion to the post of PG Assistant on the date on which his immediate juniors were promoted with all service and monetary benefits by considering his representation dated 17.12.2018. For Petitioners : M/s.K.H.Ravikumar For Respondents : Mr.A.Rajaperumal Additional Government Pleader

O R D E R

Though the larger relief has been sought for in the present writ petition, the learned counsel for the writ petitioner Mr.K.H.Ravikumar, confined the prayer sought for in the present writ petition by stating that it is suffice, if a direction is issued to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner to revise the seniority on par with his immediate junior.

2. In view of the said submission and without going in to the merits of the matter, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 17.12.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copy of the writ petition and all other relevant documents, if any, along with the order passed in the writ petition.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
