ORDER
The grievance of the writ petitioner is that he was denied promotion on par with his junior one Mr.M.Elango, who is the 3rd respondent in the present writ petition.

2. The very relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the second respondent to consider the representations submitted by the writ petitioner on 12.6.2017 and 24.10.2017 respectively.
3. In view of the limited prayer sought for in the present writ petition, this Court is not inclined to adjudicate the issues on merits.
4. Thus, without going in to the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representations submitted by the writ petitioner on 12.06.2017 and on 24.10.2017 respectively and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copies of the representations and all other relevant documents, if any, along with the order passed in this writ petition.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
