ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant the petitioner notional promotion from 03.05.2006 from the Assistant Manager post to the Selection Grade Assistant Manager Post and to pay all the monetary benefits along with interest due to the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner confines his prayer by requesting this Court to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 09.08.2010 and dispose of it on merits within a reasonable time frame.

3. The learned counsel for the second respondent would submit that the petitioner may file a fresh representation and the same will be disposed of within a period of six weeks.

4. Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side.

5. Having heard the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, and considering the limited prayer sought by the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation. Upon receipt of such representation, the respondent shall consider and dispose of it within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
