Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to call for the records in Crime No.1 of 2014 dated 9.1.2014 on the file of the respondent and quash the FIR registered against the petitioner.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to quash the FIR registered in Crime No.1 of 2014 dated 9.1.2014.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent has represented that in Crime No.1 of 2014, the Investigating Officer has examined all the witnesses and subsequently filed a final report. Under the said circumstances, relief sought for in the present petition has become infructuous.

3. It is seen from the records that the very same petitioners have filed Criminal Original Petition No.18416 of 2015 on the file of this Court praying to quash the final report, which has been taken on file in Special Case No.6 of 2015 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Kanchipuram.

4. Considering the fact that the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2014 has already been finished and subsequently final report has been filed and the same has been taken on file in Special Case No.6 of 2015, the relief sought for in the present petition has become infructuous. Therefore, the present petition deserves to be dismissed.

In fine, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
