O R D E R

The petitioner is presently working as Assistant Section Officer in Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. It is the grievance of the petitioner that notwithstanding the action taken by the respondent to promote his junior, action was not taken to give him promotion as Section Officer, taking into account the service rendered by him in the post of Typist, Selection Grade Typist, Assistant Section Officer cum Typist and Assistant Section Officer. The petitioner submitted a representation on 13.08.2014, requesting the respondent to consider his case for promotion. Thereafter, the petitioner has come up with the Writ Petition.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the representation submitted by the petitioner would be disposed of within a period of two weeks.

3. The respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 13.08.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
