The petitioner has come to this Court seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose of her representation dated 08.11.2016 to repay the excess amount deducted from her husband's salary. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that her husband was a Sub Inspector of Police. While so, at the time of allotment of official
quarters, the respondent has alloted only the quarters meant for Head Constable/Police Constable for which a sum of Rs.1,350/- has been wrongly deducted from her husband's salary instead of Rs.750/- and thereafter, he was died on 30.06.2016 while on duty at Polur Police Station, Tiruvannmalai District. In this regard, she made a representation to the respondent to repay the excess amount deducted from her husband's salary. But till date the same has not been considered.
3.When it is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that her husband was alloted the quarters meant for Police Constable/Head Constable for which wrong deduction has been made, the petitioner is duty bound to produce the said allotment order to substantiate her claim, but no such order has been produced. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to accept the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
