The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and submit the final report in Crime No.68 of 2011 dated 18.07.2011.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint with the respondent police as against one B.Ulaganathan and others and the same was registered in Crime No.68 of 2011. Though the said complaint was registered as early as on 18.07.2011, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Government Advocate.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.68 of 2011 pending on his file and file a final report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
