Respondent(s) PRAYER Directing the 1st Respondent to consider the petitioners application dated 25.04.2024 and conduct survey and measurement of the petitioners land measuring an extent of 133 Square Meters, situated in Old Survey No.274, New Town Survey No.125, Ward -E, Block No.37 Korattur Village, Ambattur Taluk, Chennai District, by granting necessary police protection by the 2nd Respondent.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the

petitioner is owned by him, based on his online application dated 25.04.2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had submitted an online application on 25.04.2024 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr. C. Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent. Mr.Venkatatesa Perumal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the first respondent if the said authorities is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom the first respondent deems it fit to enquire. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners and also to any other party, whom the first respondent deems it fit to enquire;

(b) After receiving objections if any and after

considering the same, the first respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; (c) If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the first respondent, the second respondent shall render police assistance for the effective implementation of this order.
