PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct the proper enquiry regarding the petitioner saving account hold by the respondents 3 and 4 without intimation to the petitioner in accordance with the law and release the petitioner saving account instantaneously and pass such further orders. For Petitioner : Mr.M.Senthamizh Selvan For Respondents : No Appearance

O R D E R

The petitioner is said to be an account holder of the HDFC Bank. The grievance of the petitioner is that without conducting an enquiry, his savings accounts has been withheld by the respondents 3 and 4. Therefore, the present writ petition seeking a direction to conduct an enquiry in this regard.

2. Despite the notice having been served and counsel name printed in the cause list, none appeared for the respondents in the last occasion and even today, there is no representation for the respondents. Therefore, this Court is inclined to pass orders with the available record.

3. With the grievance mentioned above, the petitioner did make two representations dated 07.02.2015 and 06.04.2015. Thus, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to conduct an enquiry with respect to the savings account of the petitioner said to have been held by the respondents 3 and 4 by calling the petitioner and concluding the same. Such exercise shall be completed by the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs. M.P.No.1 of 2015 is closed.
