PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to take immediate steps to redeem the encroached land of the petitioner in Survey No.334/9 and 334/10 Navakkurichi Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District from the respondents 6 and 7 and hand over the possession of the same to petitioner by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 11.07.2017.

[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN,J.] This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to take immediate steps to redeem the encroached land of the petitioner in Survey No.334/9 and 334/10 Navakkurichi Village, Attur Taluk,

Salem District from the respondents 6 and 7 and hand over the possession of the same to the petitioner by considering his representation dated 11.07.2017.

2. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this Petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned in the manner known to law. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 3.In view of the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, liberty is granted and the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
