This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the case on the petitioner's complaint dated 27.04.2016 and file a final report within a stipulated time.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.

It is seen that earlier, this petitioner has lodged a complaint based on which a case in Crime No.129 of 2016 has been registered on 21.05.2016 against one Ayyavoo and others. Again, the petitioner has lodged another complaint dated 27.04.2016 alleging that on 23.04.2016, one Sahadevan and others have illegally harvested his crop.

It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner's complaint dated 27.04.2016 has been sent to the respondents by registered post. 5.

In view of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to appear in person before the second respondent police, along with a copy of this order and lodge a fresh complaint, containing the very same contents as stated in the previous complaint dated 27.04.2016. On receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action be taken thereon in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
