By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of Writ, in the nature of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.1, to dispose of the petitioner's Appeal, dated 31.12.2014, within a time frame. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The prayer, sought for by the petitioner, in this Writ Petition lies in a narrow compass. He submitted an application for issuance of new SBBL arm License. But his application was rejected by the second respondent, by order, dated 02.12.2014. Against the said order, the petitioner has preferred an Appeal to the first respondent. Since the same pending, without any progress, the petitioner is before this Court by way of present Petition, seeking for the aforesaid relief.

Heard both sides.

In view of the above facts of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the first respondent to dispose of the Appeal, dated 31.12.2014, filed by the petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt a copy of this order. No costs.
