Respondents Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members, in the light of the threats made by the respondents 3 to 5 in pursuance of the complaint of the petitioner dated 22.03.2016.

ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members, in the light of the threats made by the respondents 3 to 5 in pursuance of the complaint of the petitioner dated 22.03.2016. the petitioner has come up with this petition. 2.On reading of the complaint, it is seen that the petitioner has received money from the respondents 3 to 5 in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respect of chit transaction and he failed to repay the chit amount. On account of which, it is stated by the petitioner that the local people are visiting his house and threatening his family members.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the shop of the petitioner has been locked by the respondents 3 to 5. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to settle the amount to all the persons. In this regard, the petitioner has sent a complaint to the Commissioner of Police, Chennai.

4.In such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to go in person and give a fresh complaint to the 2nd respondent police and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and take action in accordance with law. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
