The petitioner has come to this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders of posting to the post of cook in Adi Dravidar Welfare Department, Erode District based on the
selection conducted as per Advertisement through newspaper dated 22.01.2017 and to appoint her to the post of Cook based on merit in selection within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The case of the petitioner is that she has participated in the selection to the post of Cook in Adi Dravidar Welfare Department in Erode District based on the selection conducted in the month of February 2017. After the selection is conducted, it is found that the respondent has short listed the candidates for appointment to the post of Cook, whereas the respondent has not proceeded to issue the order of posting in favour of selected persons. As the petitioner is going to reach the age of upper age limit to secure any Government job, the right of selection will be deprived in the event of any delay in issuing the order of appointment. Hence, she made a representation to the first respondent seeking an order of posting for the selected persons including her as per the selection conducted, whereas the same has not been considered. Therefore, she is before this Court seeking the above direction.
3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents sought four weeks time to consider the representation made by the petitioner.
4.Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, directs the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
