PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu namely, Preethika, D/o. Gopal, aged about 17 years and hand over the custody of the detenu with petitioner.

1. The petitioner is not present in Court.

2. The detenue, i.e., Mrs. Preethika is present in Court. 2.1.As a matter of fact, the detenue was present in Court on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the last date of hearing as well.

2.2. We have interacted with the detenue. She says that she is 19 years of age.

3. We notice that even in the petition, it is averred that the detenue was aged about 17 years in 2015 -2016.

4. We asked the detenue, i.e., Preethika, as to whether she wanted to return to the petitioner.

4.1. The detenue, i.e., Mrs. Preethika, says that she does not want to return to the petitioner.

5. In these circumstances, no further orders are called for in the petition.

6. The petition is, accordingly, closed.
