ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner complaint dated 11.09.2022 to issue a 1/4

Non Traceable certificate in respect of the missing of the partition deed dated 21.06.1988 registered as Doc.No.875/1988 on the file of SRO Gengavalli to the petitioner.

When the matter is taken up, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that on the basis of the complaint dated 11.09.2022 given by the petitioner, enquiry was conducted by the respondent police. During the course of the investigation, the petitioner was not even able to inform the date on which the document was lost. He further stated that only the copy written in ten rupee stamp paper was missing from him and the original partition deed is available with his brother Subramanian. It was also revealed during the course of the investigation that he has not informed the xerox shop owner with regard to the missing of the document on the alleged date of missing on 01.08.2022, but informed the xerox shop owner only on 23.11.2022. Petitioner was giving contrary answers with regard to the manner in which the document was lost. Therefore, this complaint was closed for the aforesaid reasons.

3. In light of the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) that petitioner was not even able to inform the respondent police about the date of missing of document; that the document which was lost is 2/4

only a copy written on ten rupees stamp paper and the petitioner had given contrary answers with regard to the missing of the document, this Court is of the view that prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be entertained.

4. In this view of the matter, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
