ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mrs.T.Gnana Banu, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.C.Ravichandran, learned counsel for respondent No.2 and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader (i/c) for respondent Nos.1, 3 and 4.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she is in possession of the premises bearing No.23/34, Ramasamy Street, Makkis Garden, Thousand Lights, Chennai-600 006. The petitioner apprehends that her premises will be sealed or demolished or she may be evicted from the said premises.

3. The prayer of the petitioner is that the premises should not be demolished or the petitioner should not be evicted without following due process of law.

4. The learned Government Pleader (i/c) appearing for respondent Nos.1, 3 and 4 made a statement that without following due process of law, the petitioner's premises will not be demolished, nor the petitioner will be evicted.

5. In the light of the statement made by the learned Government Pleader (i/c), no further orders are necessary in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
