Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the lands measuring an extent of 24 cents comprised in Survey Nos.85/2 (85/2A and 2B) and 73 cents comprised in Survey No.85/3 (85/3A1A1, 3A1A2, 3A2, 3B, 3C and 3A1B) in all 97 cents now Town Survey Nos.62/1, 62/2, 63, 64, 65/1, 65/2, 66, 67, 68 and 69, Jameen Pallavaram Village, Pallavaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District pursuant to the written representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2019 to the second respondent.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to issue Patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the lands, measuring an extent of 24 cents comprised in Survey Nos.85/2 (85/2A and 2B) and 73 cents, comprised in Survey No.85/3 (85/3A1A1, 3A1A2, 3A2, 3B, 3C and 3A1B) in all 97 cents, now Town Survey Nos.62/1, 62/2, 63, 64, 65/1, 65/2, 66, 67, 68 and 69, situated at Jameen Pallavaram Village, Pallavaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District, pursuant to the written representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2019 to the second respondent.

2. While pending the Writ Petition, this Court recorded the statement made by the Government Advocate appearing for the respondents that the enquiry had been fixed at 11. 00 a.m on 20.03.2020 before the third respondent. Based on the said statement, now the enquiry is under progress.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the third respondent is directed to complete the enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2019, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
