ORDER
This application has been made for increasing the grant made for performance of Charities in certain Temples as per the scheme decree,
governing the administration of two Trusts namely, N.V.Ammal Estate and N.Ponnambalam Pillai Estates.
2. Though the applicants had claimed certain amounts for performance of those Charities, after meeting with the Official Trustee, a consensus has been arrived at and the amounts are ordered to be paid for performance of Charities.
3. In respect of N.V.Ammal Estate, the following amounts are ordered to be paid as per consensus:- I. N.V.Ammal Estate a) Monthly Charities 1.Kalaisandhi Kattalai Shri.Thyagaraja Swamy Koil at Tiruvottriyur, Chennai. - Rs.2,500/- 2.Desandri Kattalai at Chidambaram - Rs.2,500/- 3.Pradosam Allowance to Shri Vedapuriswarar Swamy, Thirukalukundram, Chengalpet District.
- Rs.1,500/- 4.Flower Angi to Shri.Parthasarathy Swamy, Triplicane, Chennai - 5.
- Rs.1,500/- 5.Payment to Shri.Ekambareswarar Swamy Mint Street, Chennai - 3.
- Rs.1,500/- 6.Payment to Shri.Pattinathu Swamy, Tiruvottriyur, Chennai - 19.
- Rs.1,500/- 7.Payment to Shri.Drowpathy Ammal Koil, Velur, Thiruthuraipoondi Tk. Thiruvarur District.

b). Annual Charities Charity a) Performing of Golden Car Urtchavam on the 8 th day festival twice a year in Chidambaram.
- Rs.60,000/- b) Poor Feeding twice a year during the festival of Arudhura and Anithirumanjanam at Chidambaram - Rs.60,000/- c) Annabishekam festival at Shri.Mallikeshwarar Swamy, Muthialpet, Chennai - 1.
- Rs.50,000/- d) Tamil New Year's day festival at Sri Ekambareswarar Temple, Chennai - 3.
- Rs.50,000/- ----------------- Rs.2,20,000/- ----------------- a) Monthly = 12500 x 12 = Rs.1,50,000/- (7 Items) b) Annually (4 Items) = Rs.2,20,000/- ------------------- Rs.3,70,000/- -------------------
4. In respect of Ponnambalam Pillai Estate, the following amounts are ordered to be paid as per consensus:- Annual Charities a) Poor feeding during Brahmotchavam at Tiruvotriyur, Chennai - 19.
- Rs.30,000/- b) Poor feeding during Brahmotchavam at Mylapore, Chennai - 4.
- Rs.30,000/- ---------------- Rs.60,000/- ----------------
5. Therefore, the total amount payable will be (Rs.3,70,000/- + Rs.60,000/-) = Rs.4,30,000/-.
6. Accordingly, this application is ordered.
